Day Camping

Saturday after Brayden's lacrosse game we headed to the other side of 5 Mile Pass to where my mom and her friend Brian was camping. It was hot, dirty, windy and lots of fun.

We spent the majority of the time riding Brian's new RZR (Polaris, side by side) along the many trails at 5 Mile Pass. We even found a couple Geocaches there too. Of course the kids had more fun on the RZR when I couldn't go. When I went, they had to ride slower than usual and avoid all the fun bumps since I'm pregnant.

When we wern't on the RZR we spent the time visiting under the only shade we had from a canapy. The girls looked for bugs, Brayden hiked with my Uncle Steven and Kyler, and Devin read, read and read some more.

Later that night we had dinner and roasted smores before heading home.

My Uncle Steven and Madison

Devin - reading of course

Cute Chloe. Everytime the wind picked up and the dirt and sand started blowing, she'd cover her face with her hat.

My mom & Chloe, Brayden in the driver seat, and Steven and Madison in the back seat of the RZR.

Here are some layouts I've done from our Day Camping trip - Madison and her pet Beetle, and Chloe and her stained green popsicle lips.
