Walking Chico

Chloe has this thing for Chico's leash. Whenever she sees it, she picks it up and pulls it along where ever she walks.

Normally when I put Chico on his leash to take him for walks, Chloe will come along with us in the wagon. Basically, I'm walking Chico with my right hand and pulling the wagon with my left hand. lol. Chico is only allowed to walk on my right side so when we go around the block, he can't reach the lawns to the houses. (He walks by the road.)

Anyway, yesterday when she picked up the leash, she started calling to Chico to come. She says come and will pat her belly. I had Chico come over so I could put his leash on him.

Once we headed outside I figured Chloe would go to the lean-to to get her wagon. She didn't. Instead she wanted the leash to Chico.

So, I handed her the leash and she spent the next 10 minutes walking around in our driveway with Chico.

Don't mind the background, this is our neighbors lovely property.

It was fun to see her want to do this so I snapped a couple pictures. I would have taken more but my battery died.

For those curious, Chico's breed is called a Chorkie. He is part Chihuahua and Yorkshire Terrier. He only weighs about 4 lbs. and is fully grown.
