Gardening Fun

Madison has always wanted a "flower garden" of her own, so when my mom called Friday and said she was going to the greenhouse, us girls decided to come along.

We found some sun hardy flowers and bought a entire crate full to plant by the backdoor. This little section by our backdoor generally is in full sun until evening time so most plants that get planted there don't last very long. But these flowers love the sun. They actually do better in direct sun and they don't require very much water.

So, after we bought the flowers and came home, I helped the girls weed the bed and then I dug the holes and placed the flowers in them so Madison could bury them back up. Brayden was nice enough to take these pictures for me.

Even Chloe had to help, which really was just digging in the dirt.

All done, look how pretty. Each plant will get bigger and this entire area should fill in nicely with a bunch of flowers and last until fall.

It looks so pretty. I can't wait to see them when they are bigger. Hopefully mine will grow in too!
