It started out as a fun filled family activity until the kids started fighting over who got to putt first. Seriously, did it really matter? Well, it did! Brayden started out putting first, then Madi, then me, then Devin. But after a while, Madison decided she needed to go first. I thought it would be ok for her to go first for a few holes, but man, Brayden didn't like that idea. Then when I decided Devin and I would go before the kids, Madison threw the biggest temper tantrum ever!
Now, I understand that with Brayden playing sports, he can get pretty tired which then makes him a little on the mean side. And Madison, Chloe did wake her up early and she couldn't fall back asleep, so it's understandable that she would be cranky. I'm just glad Chloe wasn't to bad.
I think we managed to get to hole 9 when I decided, that was enough. I took the golf balls from the kids and made us leave. Oh, the kids didn't think I was serious, but I wanted them to know there was consequences for their actions. I made my point, but I think as soon as we got home, they forgot!
Anyway, here are a few pictures from the 30 minutes of fun we did manage to squeeze in.
Does this ever happen to you?
Chloe and Devin. I LOVE her little smile with her finger in her mouth.

LOL. I love the look on Chloe's face in that last picture. She is looking at Mommy and Daddy as if to say, "Wow. Those are my parents taking a goofy picture. I am so embarrased." LOL. Not really...she is prolly thinking, "I'm so glad they are my parents...it is my bro and sis who are embarassing! Can't we all just get along and take cute pictures to blog later?" LOL.
Believe me...you are not the only one with those kind of days. My Madi and Cassi butt heads like you wouldn't believe! I need to take more advantage of times when I can just 'walk out' like you did. I think that gets through to them more than anything. Now next time when you are there and they start acting the same way you can remind them "remember how we left last time..." I know that is works with my kiddos!
We've had to walk out a few times. Especially when the kids were a bit younger! We did it once in a movie theater and the kids started screaming on the way out! Poor people in the theater!
