We went to my mom-in-laws the other day for Easter, and her birthday. I brought the roast, vegetables, and of course, one of my family favorite desserts. Molton Lava Cake, similar to Chili's.
Here's the recipe:
Molton Lava Cake
1 box dark chocolate or fudge chocolate cake mix
1 jar Herseys fudge
1 Fudge Chocolate flavor Magic Shell
1 quart vanilla ice-cream
Mix cake mix as directed on box.
Pour mix into 12 Jumbo Sized muffin pans, sprayed.
Cook as directed on box.
When slightly cooled, turn over muffin and cut tops off. This will be the bottom of the cake.
On the new top of muffin, which use to be the bottom, spoon out centers but leave cake on bottom so it doesn't go through.
Fill each hole with fudge until full.
Freeze each cake/muffin until ready to serve.
When frozen, warm up cakes individually for 30-40 seconds or until fudge bubbles.
Place 1 scoop vanilla ice-cream over top and top with Magic Shell.
Eat, and enjoy! YUMMY!
