Yay Sadie Update

Once Sadie was on the lights they said after 6 hours they would do some more blood work. The results came back and she had dropped down to 15.9. Which is awesome because it dropped signatificantly. The nurse said if this continues everything would be fine.

6 hours later, so around 5:45 am this morning they did more blood work. It came back at 10.7. This was fabulous news!

The nurse called her pediatrician and he was on his way.

Once he arrived he came in and said that it was such a significant drop that he had no concerns for her and all should be ok. Generally anytime bilirubon levels go above 20 it can take a few days to go down. But she did wonderful, and we only had to overnight.

We could could finally go home.

We are home now and she is doing wonderful. She only has a little yellow left on her face since her face was covered and out of the lights. And her cute little body looks pink again.

I was advised to continue waking her every 3 hours if she doesn't wake up for another day to help finish clearing it up, then we can feed on 'her' demand.
