My kids are addicted to this Club Penguin online game. It's not really that exciting if you ask me, but they LOVE it. You create a penguin character and you walk around this penguin city and just chat with other penguins using pre-set chat or you can do your own chat. They have little games to play where you earn coins that can buy you cool stuff for your igloo, clothes for your penguin, and other items.

Both the kids have bought themselves little puffles (penguin pets). There actually is a lot of stuff you can buy as you save up your coins, but in order to buy stuff, you have to become a member, and it's $6.00 a month, per penguin, to do so.

So, since I'm cheap, they can only play the basic Free online Club Penguin game and buy stuff like pets (red or blue only), colors (so they can change their penguin color), and backgrounds. Either way, they still love playing it; searching for hidden free items (glasses and a hat), playing games, and basically just wondering around.
