After Church on Sunday, Brayden decided he wanted to start hosting our Family Home Evenings, and he couldn't wait to get started on it. He wanted to do it that night.
He had his lesson, he had a snack, he even had a game ready for us to play.
He started by stating he would do the opening prayer. Then he gave us our lesson. Our lesson was about Strengthening Our Family. He had a single skewer and asked Madison to break it. Of course she could break it, it was just one skewer. Then he gave her a stack of skewers taped together and asked her to break it. Well, she couldn't, and neither could I. The stack of skewers represented how as a family, we are strong, but alone, we aren't as strong.
Then we played a game of Sorry and ate popcorn and drank rootbeer, with a rootbeer candy at the bottom of the cup.
We ended with a prayer and that was that. lol.
I know I say he is a pain, and he is, especially since he loves to pick on his sisters, but he is also one of the sweetest boys I know. He is so spiritual and is constantly making sure he doesn't play rated M games or hang with those who are problems. He wants to go on a mission and talks about saving money so he can go.
We love you Brayden!
