Anyway, the party was a lot of fun. We ended up having more family and a few good friends show up than what we thought. We did miss all of you who couldn't make it.
My sister Kim, my friend Amy, and my mom all came over early to help decorate and prepare for the party. An hour later family started showing up with their goodies to share.
We ate my yummy Chicken Tortilla Soup, also had Chili, rolls, chips, veggies, candies and desserts to our heart content. After dinner was done, we spent time visiting and loving everyones costume. Eventually we played a few games. Mainly games for the kids.
We played 'Silly Face' where the kids had to move the straw from one side of their mouth to the other without using anything but their lips and tongue. We made gum sculptures with hard, gross bubble gum and 1 toothpick. We also mimicked faces of skeletons from our table top decorations.
All in all the party was fun. It was fun to see everyone dress up, and it was great visiting with friends and family.
Here are some goofy and fun pictures from the party.
The 3 of us were pirates this year. Chloe was seriously stinkin' cute!
The kids mimicking the skeleton face.
Brayden and Madison playing the Silly Face game with the straw.
Fernando and Corrine. They didn't dress up. What punks! :D
My cute family. Devin, Chloe and myself were pirates. Madison a bride, and Brayden a reaper.
My 2nd cousin Lindsay, a banana. She's pregnant so it was perfect to hide her belly.
My mom, my sister Kim, and me.
My friends Lindsay, hockey player, Amy, high school graduate, and me... pirate. You can't tell, but I am wearing a big fluffy, ruffly neck and sleeved shirt. Oh, and my earrings are money.
