Turning 30

So, everyone has been saying that when I turn 30 basically I am going to "freak out". As my dad puts it... I will wake up on my birthday, look in the mirror and say something along the lines of, "I am not a kid anymore. What happened?"

Well everyone out there... I'll be in Disney World. I don't think I am going to be freaking out about turning 30. Maybe I'll freak out from all the excitement of being there and getting to wear a birthday pin. :P

Where or what were you doing when you turned 30? Or for those not 30; what are you going to do? Will you be "freaking out"?

P.S. My birthday isn't until December 3rd. I don't know why everyone is talking about it already.

I don't feel any different! :) I still think of myself as 24ish. I didn't even do anything real exiting for my bday. You still look like 23 so who cares our real age right????

I had a hard time turning 30 (mainly because I just had my first child and I want more and don't want to be too old when I finish having children!)! I spent the morning at church and the afternoon at my mom's celebrating by having a birthday barbeque!

I remember when I was a kid and 30 was this huge milestone that said, "you are old" The day came and went and I really don't feel that much older than when I graduated from HS...I didn't freak out or anything exciting, honestly I can't even remeber what I did...You will have a great b-day in disney World!

When I turned 30 I was walking on a track for the Relay for Life. It couldn't have been better!! :-)

That's funny that people are already buggin' you about it. Dec is still a bit away. LOL.

I have no idea where I was or what I did the day I turned 30, but I can tell you that turning 40 was even better and then 50...well, it's just getting better every season of life!

I'd like to say I'll be on the beach in Naples, Florida the day I turn 60. A gal can dream, can't she? ;)

30 is NOT old. Your Dad is crazy, you know him... he's always been an old fart. LOL
Enjoy it, it's another year to look forward to. I LOVE YOU!!
