Eek, I Was Tagged

I was tagged by my friend Lindsay. Geez, thanks Linds!

Here are the Rules:

Link the person who tagged you. Mention the rules on your blog. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours. Tag 6 fellow bloggers by linking them. Leave a comment on each of the tagged bloggers blogs letting them know they have been tagged.

Here are my quirks in no particular order.

Quirk #1: Fingernails

I hate long fingernails. I have to keep them short, but not too short. You know, just barely over the finger. If they get too long, I can't type well or fast, and with long fingernails I tend to scratch my kids.

Quirk #2: Shoes

I do not like having anyone just leaving their shoes where ever they want. Shoes have a particular place to go. They go in your bedroom closet, on the side by your bedroom door, in the basket by the backdoor, or even tucked away under your bed. Don't leave them where I am going to trip over them. (This mostly applies to my kids, but sometimes Devin has a tendency to leave them out.) Even when you go to someone house, if you take your shoes off, put them somewhere appropriate.

Quirk #3: Trash

What is up with just leaving your garbage any where you want? Don't you know how to clean up after yourselves? Why on earth would you eat candy, chips, or whatever and just leave the garbage where you were sitting instead of throwing it in the garbage can ... which is usually 3 feet away from you. That or take your garbage with you. I am sure you have a garbage can at your home. Same thing applies to water bottles, hello!

Quirk #4: Video Game Systems

I don't get it, why do people have to play so much and so often?

Quirk #5: Public Affection

This bothers me. Not the holding hands or hug goodbye, not even the cute little kiss when you are leaving or meeting... not even the arms around the waist when you are together. No, what bothers me is when people are all over each other. Making out like there is no one there. Smothering their partner. That bothers me. Seriously folks, you have a home for that!

Quirk #6: Turn it Off

It really bothers me when people leave a room and leave the light on or the TV on. The light switch is by the door for a reason. If you are the last one out, turn off the light if it's on. It's pretty simple. Same thing with televisions, if you aren't watching it anymore, turn it off!
