You know how school is supposed to be free? I don't think is really is. Just yesterday, it cost me over $150.00 at registration.
- $60 for not even 2 months of schools lunch for Brayden. (Glad it is still only Brayden eating lunch)
- $40 for Activity Donation. ($20 for each kid)
- $65 for PTA registration, T-shirts, Sweatshirts, and SWISH.
So, now for my bragging rights... since it is my blog. :D
I was offered a part time job as a Digital Designer for an online scrapbooking site. I start today. I only have to design one kit and one mini kit a month, but I can do as many as I want for them. I get 80% profit off my kits, and I still can do my freebies on my blogspot. I just have to have at least 1 exclusive kit for the company. I am pretty excited. Now I know it's not a job where it's going to generate a ton of income, especially since kits sell for around $6.00, but still. It's pretty exciting to think that they found my blog, and really liked my work.
Just yesterday I had almost 600 visits from all over the world. Not to bad for a newbie. Mainly the US and Canada were my vistors, but still. I have had visits from almost every country too! I will have to generate a list somehow with Google Analytics reports. That's how I am getting my numbers. I was also ranked at 17 out of the Top 50 Digital Scrapbooking Blogs. Cool huh!
Check out my digi-designs blogspot, let me know what you think. Click on my blinkie on the right hand side. And if you still haven't, post my blinkie on your blogspot, help generate traffic to it. There will be a link from my blogspot to the company I am going to work for.

Very cool Nicole! Congrats! And I agree about the 'free' school thing...
Sounds great!!! I use feedjet on my blog it tracks who entered your blog when and what time they left. It is free. It also says where the arrived from, ie. someone's blog or a random search! I agree with the Free school thing...!
That is such a fantastic job! Especially since it is something that you already enjoy doing, now you can make a little money, too! That is very exciting!
I'm anxious for school to start up again, too! Although they don't want to get up early again, I know they are excited for school. Aarynn will be going to a new school for 4th grade, and Lily is excited for a brand new teacher in full day 1st grade!
Gee whiz, these kids grow up too fast!
Awesome Nicole! Anything you can do at home and something that you love is great work!
