Feeding the Ducks

Friday while Brayden was in school I decided that us girls needed to get out of the house! Madison and I gathered up some bread and buns that were getting hard and headed out with Chloe in toll to feed the ducks.

Now Chloe has seen ducks before and never seemed to mind, but this time she did. As soon as we pulled up along a stream with some ducks, it seems like every duck within sight started flocking towards us. They must have been starving because they were loud! I am guessing from all the noise they were making Chloe wasn't sure about getting out near them. So, while Madison and I were out feeding the ducks, Chloe stayed in the van and would peek out the door at us and the ducks.

We had a lot of fun feeding the ducks, about 20 minutes worth of fun. lol. We wish we would have had more bread and goodies for the ducks because it didn't last nearly long enough. We can't wait to go again. Feeding the ducks never gets old!

We had to scout out the place before stopping. We won't stop if there is a swan or goose there. Madi was once bit by a goose and ever since that has hated being near them.

... the bread was gone and most of the ducks went away, then she got out, for almost a full minute until she wanted back in the van.
