I found my laptop!!!

I finally found my laptop. Not that is was really lost, but it's been buried beneath a ton of stuff. Literally!

So as you all know, I've finished my Television room and love it. So now I have been working on my Computer room and under the stairs where the kids toys are. Those rooms absolutely suck. The computer desk is so big and heavy that we were only able to move it a few feet away from the wall. Just far enough away from the walls for me to attempt to squeeze my body between it and the wall so I can paint. And under the stairs, ug. Trims need replaced, the carpet is gross and I keep hitting my head. Ouch. I'm tearing out some of the old trim, but have ran into a problem, it's a huge long piece, so now I have to find a way to cut it so I don't ruin the entire trim. I'm also thinking about ripping up the carpet underneath the stairs and replacing it with linoleum, but I don't really know how to do linoleum... yet. And since it is so low, I do hit my head, then I get paint in my hair, and that sucks. Washing paint out, it's a long process, and it doesn't always come out with the first hair wash.

So, as you can tell, I have yet another BIG project that needs to be completed before this week's end. I'll get the painting out of the way, and I'll get the furniture back into place, but under the stairs, I don't know when that will be completed. I'll definitely need Devin's help, so that probably won't be done until the weekend. Did I mention that I'm priming one of the walls under the stairs in a magnetic primer so they can hang up their artworks with magnets downstairs and stop taking up my entire fridge space. How exciting. That stuff though is even more messy that regular paint. It's black right now, but you can paint any color latex paint over it and it will look like a regular wall, that's magnetic!

Oh, so you might wonder how I lost my laptop... well, since I moved everything in the computer room to the middle of the room, and then covered it so it wouldn't get paint on it... it was stuck where I couldn't reach it. It actually ended up being exactly in the middle of the room with the other furniture around it. I decided to go and 'dig it up' because I needed to do AVON work.

So, I found my laptop, I have a huge mess and a big project to take care of, and I need to do it while the kids are in school and while the baby is napping. Fun stuff, fun week.

One other thing, I get to register Madison for kindergarten today. Now that's really exciting!
