School's Out, Friends & I Did It

Yesterday was the kids last day of school, now with an entire summer, I need to find things to do to keep the kids busy, as well as being able to do some of it with them, while pregnant. The thing is, I am thrify, so I would like these activities to be inexpensive if not free. So please, tell me what you are doing, what do you have planned?

We do have 7 peaks passes, so if it would ever warm up and stay warm we will definetly be going there a lot!

Madison also has Coach Pitch and I am coaching Brayden's Lacrosse team this summer - so those are a few things we will be doing.

I know, crazy me coaching still, but I already knew I wouldn't be able to coach soccer this fall with little Sadie, so I figured Lacrosse would be my last sport to coach for a while - and it only goes until the middle of July.

We have a lot of new kids who haven't played Lacrosse before, it's going to be funny and lots of fun to watch these boys play.

Besides 7 Peaks and sports, we do have plans to go to Lagoon again next month, not sure how much fun I'll have, but at least the kids will. And then in July the yearly planned rafting trip - that I can't go on. Oh well.

Yesterday after school when the kids got home we headed to the park with my good friend Brooke. I use to work with her back in the Convergy's days, but then she moved to Texas, and now Alaska. It was so much fun to get to see her, even if it was only for a few hours.

Here is Brayden, Madison, Houston (one of her sons), and Chloe busy away playing at the park. 15 minutes later the park was filled with kids and other parents who had the same idea about going to the park when school got out.

I really thought twice about putting this picture on my blog, but because it had beautiful Brooke in it, I went ahead and posted it. Don't look at me though with all the weight I've gained. I hate how my face gets fat when I'm pregnant - what's up with that, and dang, I need a tan. lol.

Remember how I made the post about a contest to win a Nursing Cover, well, I didn't win, BUT I finally finished sewing yesterday my own, and I love it. I love that I got to pick out my own material and that it's the exact same thing of what I could buy but it cost me only $4.00 to make - oh yeah, $4.00 - this material was on sale!!! Now I'm super excited to use it with Sadie. I can't believe I've never used one before with my other kids and that I tolerated all the blanket pulls. lol.

I think you look great! Cute material and much cheaper than buying theirs! lol

For stuff to do this summer...I know it is kindof a drive (and maybe they have dollar movies all over there...there are none here), but AMC does $1 movies on Tuesday mornings for the kids. The one closest to you that I KNOW of is in Layton.

Also we like going to the zoo (or the aquarium) the pass is about $100 for the whole year and it is tax deductible!
