I bought baby Sadie her first gift, a minky baby blanket. It is so soft and so cute.
And if your family is anything like our family, we LOVE games! So when I came across a game booth again this year, I decided to buy a few new games for our family.
Our families favorite one is Play Nine. You can play with up to 6 players I believe, and it's easy enough for a Kindergartner to play after some explaining. You basically try to get the lowest score, just like in golf and you play 9 holes. :)
The next favorite one is Spy Alley. You are all a spy for a country and you go around this bored trying to purchase specific items for your spy, as well as items that aren't needed for your spy so others can't guess which spy you are. If they guess before you visit your embassy, your out of the game. The kids love this one too.
Then the next favorite is Snatch It, but really only with Brayden and myself. It's another spelling game, and Madison has a harder time coming up with bigger words. You have all these tiles and you take turns drawing one. Whenever you see a 3 letter word, you call it out, take the tiles and put the word in front of you. The fun part comes in when others snatch your word by making it a different word. So your word CAT can become someones CART and so fourth.
The last game is called Wackee Six. I think it's a lot of fun. But it does take some times for the kids to catch on. After about 3 games they caught on fine. It's like solitaire with a lot of people. You can play up to 6 people or on teams and you could even have your fastest player play alone while the others are on teams. You have twelve cards in front of you and a pile of cards in your hand that you play from. To win you have to get rid of your twelve cards. It's fun!
We also bought these finger nail paints that are in pens so we could decorate our toes and fingernails with flowers and designs instead of just painting it. With Summer coming around the corner, we love to have our toenails painted, and this was the perfect fun activity for us to get.
We love the Women's Expo.
Oh, and for those who were wondering, YES, we both decided on the name Sadie. Remember, I had several names. lol.

Way cute blanket! I love the minky ones they are so cuddly. Those are the only ones Coleson loves to snuggle with! We are a total game family too!
Cool, I will have to check those out, my family loves games too (well my extended family, it is hard to play too many games with just 2-3 players, but we manage sometimes) lol
Oh man...I NEED a blanket like that for Grace!!! Can you get them anywhere else?
