Primary Program

Today in church was our Primary program, and from the sounds of it, a lot of other wards had their program today too.

It was so much fun to see the primary kids up front singing loud, showing off all the church songs they have learned, along with the little talks, quotes and scriptures they had to say. My favorite are the little Sunbeams, they are just too cute. They are so loud when they talk in the microphone, it's so funny.

Now Brayden, he has never been a singer, nor has he ever liked to get up in front of people, ever. I remember when he was in Kindergaten, and they would do their programs for the parents, he would never sing or dance. He usually just stood there, being the tallest in the class, smiling, blushing, trying to not look at us directly.

And then there was Madison. She sings as louds as possible, even when she doesn't know all the words. She doesn't care if she misses a dance step. She looks right at you the entire time, smiling, posing for pictures, as if she knows she is the cutest girl there. lol.

That's exactly how it was as church today for their program. Brayden sang a little bit, not a lot, and when he would look our way, we would mouth the song they were singing, make a cup around an ear as it to say, louder, and he would blush and turn away. Every single time! It was so funny. Then you would see him look back at us, and we'd do the same thing again, only for it to be followed by more blushing.

But not Madison. She sang, she moved, she talked when it wasn't her turn. She talked to her friends. She at one point was facing backwards talking to the kids behind her. That's our Madi!

When it was there turn to talk, they did fabulous. They both had to come up with something to say about Grandparents. Brayden said... "I like to go golfing with my grandpa and geocaching with my grandma." And then Madison said... "I like to make cards with my grandma, and with my other grandma, we like to go shopping for dresses. Grandparents are great!" lol.
