You were also to have typed your top 10 favorites or must haves from the year 2008, along with enough copies for everyone too. I also had to bring a basket filled with some of my favorite goodies from the year 2008.
After we ate lots of food, we all sat down to play a game. Anyone could start. This was how the game was played:
First you would pass out the recipe to everyone, along with a copy of your top 10. Then you read your top 10 list out loud to share with everyone. When you were done you would draw a name and that person would get that your basket of goodies, and then it would be their turn to do the same thing.
After all the baskets were handed out, you went around in the circle and could steal someone elses basket. The basket could only be stolen twice.
It was a lot of fun. I wish I brought my camera, but, I didn't.
I would love to do this again, it was a great girls night out, and it was fun. Anyone interested?
My 2008 Top 10, in no particular order
1. Frozen 'Dream Dinners' - Seriously convenient. I pull out 3 at the beginning of the week and it makes those nights that are hectic a little less hectic because I all then have to do is cook the food.
2. Savvy shopper - I save on average anywhere between $60 - $100 a shopping trip when I go because I've learned to cut coupons, compare ads and get the best prices.
3. Blogger - Without it I wouldn't have a journal of any sort.
4. Avon FootWorks - My favorite foot care products of all time!
5. Food Storage - I now have a rotating food storage. I stock up and buy in bulk when items are at great prices. I use them as needed without feeling guilty and I replace at every sale.
6. Shade - The best place to buy tank tops that actually cover up your garments! I even find myself wearing them when I'm not wearing something that requires a tank top. They are long, I can wash and DRY them, and they don't stretch out, roll up, or shrink.
7. Herbal Essences Conditioner for Long Hair - My favorite conditioner. It doesn't cost a lot, it smells good, and it actually makes combing my hair and my daughters hair easy to comb through without all those knots we get in our hair.
8. Digital Scrapbooking - By far the easiest and most convenient method of scrap booking. Besides designing myself, there are so many free products out there. I love not having garbage on my floor! And it's all digital so putting on pictures and swapping them out are super easy.
9. Perfume - Even when you are not feeling as pretty as you want too, some perfume can really help make you feel better about yourself.
10. Chocolate - It's ok to eat junk food and candy when you want to and not feel guilty about it.
This is my recipe for the Strawberry Limeade. It's Sonic's Copycat Recipe.

Sounds like you had a GREAT time! E-mail me some info on the Savvy shopper thing. My goal this year is to spend less at the grocery store!
That sounds like and awesome party! What a great idea! I love your top 10! I need to figure out digital scrapbooking more!
What a fun night! I'm going to have to remember this one.
Sounds fun. I love strawberry limeade but never have been impressed with any of the recipes I have found. I am going to have to try yours.
