This Disney theme park is spread across 1,500 acres of Marne-la-Vallee, 20 miles east of Paris. It's inspired by California's Magic Kingdom. The five-themed park has a European touch in the form of attractions based on such characters as Peter Pan and Sleeping Beauty. However, it is predominantly American in character and spirit, through its style of presentation and in the major sections on small town American and the Wild West. This resort opened in 1992, complete with theme park, hotels, facilities for sports and camping.
Instead of the Haunted Mansion, they have Phantom Manor. And their castle is called Chateau de la Belle au Bois Dormant, which is really, Sleeping Beauty's Castle. It mixes the styles of a medieval palace and a French Chateau.
Anyway, while we were there, we were able to get our picture taken with Mickey. Pretty cool. Mickey from Paris. lol.

I bought a Disneyland Paris magnet, pin, and a shot glass for my mom.
