Aprons and more Aprons

After attending a card party a while back, our hostess brought out this adorable apron her friend made for her. Seeing it, and loving it, I took some pictures and decided to give it a try myself. Now, never really sewing before, and being my first ever at making an apron, I do have to say, I am sooooo proud of how it turned out, and I love it!

I made 2 over the neck aprons. 1 for Madison and 1 for me. Then I made 3 around the waist aprons. 1 for Madison, 1 for me, and 1 for little Chloe with the scrap material I had left from Madison's. Chloe loves her apron. She wears it everywhere.

Here are some pictures of my first time ever sewing an apron(s).

Chloe wouldn't take the apron off for a picture of it, so you get it on her. She loves the camera. Whenever I get it out, she stops and poses for me to take her picture. If I go to take a picture of Brayden or Madison, she runs over to them to get in the picture too. Hilarious, and so stinkin' cute!

Madison's apron. She picked out her own material and buttons.

My apron. I love this material, and the picture doesn't do it justice. Now I am excited to make my famous Orange Chicken, that is better than Panda Express!, while I wear this apron. :)

Madison's apron. She had to pick out a dog material, so I finally talked her into this pink one instead of the ugly huge dog faces she originally wanted. Don't you just love the ribbons she picked out. The first one is pom-pom like, the 2nd layer, you can't notice, but there are little beads that hang down, and the last layer is fur like. So fun!

And my apron. I love this material too, and I love the fun ribbons I used on each layer. So cute. I even did pleats! (Lindays, you get the same ribbons, but different colored fabric!)

So, how did I do?
