Ward Picnic

Last night was our wards annual picnic up Hobble Creek Canyon at Kellys Grove. You would think after doing this year after year, something would be different, maybe the food, activities, I dunno, something... but nope, it's the same, just like it was the year before. Ok, so not exactly the same, some of the kids games were a little different, their prizes, and maybe people brought different chips/salads/desserts than last year, but really. lol. Seriously, even the main dish was the same as it was last year, wet pulled pork. I love pulled pork, but for some reason theirs is always super soggy so it makes your bun all gross. Gag.

Anyway, the kids had a blast. They played in the river before dinner, we ate, then the kids did the activities. They had water-ballon volleyball, magnetic fishes, ring toss, and the game where you walk around on numbers and if they call your number, you win a cupcake. What's that called? Anyway, everyone wins!

The picnic started at 6 pm, and we left about 7:30 pm. Really, it wasn't that bad, it was fun to socialize with the one or two people I did socialized with. (Don't forget, the majority of my ward members are older than my parents. lol.)

I did get some pictures of the kids. Although my camera wasn't set up correctly so they turned out not that great. UG. Oh well, still a memory captured.
