Soccer Resumes

Last night I went to the soccer clinic to pick up my new team rooster... I hate to say, but I was a little disappointed with my new team. I am sure they are all going to be wonderful... I just haven't meet them yet. I was really hoping for my same team that I have had the last 3 years since I have trained them to be 'super stars'! lol. I didn't get the same team as I always do because, well, they signed up for flag football instead. Can you believe that, football. Seriously folks, soccer is way better than football. :D

Brayden wanted to try flag football this year as well, and unlike most of the parents who only signed them up for 1 sport, Brayden is doing both. He couldn't make up his mind, and of course me playing soccer while I was younger through all my school years and summer breaks, I want Brayden to do the same... and geez, I am the coach duh!

Anyway, our first game is the 28th, so I have a lot of work to do to get my team into shape. That means practice this weekend and then twice a week until games start. Once games start I usually go to 1 practice a week, but depending on how these kids are doing, we might hit up 2 practices a week! I do have to work around Brayden's flag football schedule, so Tuesday and Thursday are out since that's when he has practices.

Man, I am busy. As soon as soccer and football is over, I have Red Ribbon Week to attend too. Then I am not as busy until the Spring.

I still haven't heard about cub soccer for Madison, don't forget I coach her team as well! :D
