Brayden's Soccer Game

Well, we finally had Brayden's 1st soccer game of the season, and we did pretty good for it being our first game.

The refs needed a little more training though, which sucked! The first goal of the game was made by the other team, but on off-sides... talk about frustrating. I pointed it out to the ref and all she said was, "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't notice." Then on our kickoff from that goal, a player from the other team went and stood over by our goal. Um, you can't do that. Not to mention the other numerous times off-sides should have been called.

If you don't count the 1st game goal, which I told my team not too, we ended up on a tied game! I was hoping to win, but that's all right, we still did awesome.

There is definitely room for improvement and position coaching. Can you guess what we are going to practice on Saturday morning?

I wish I would have had some pictures taken for his first game, but my mom, who normally takes pictures for me, went to Saint George for the weekend with some friends, and Devin was to busy with Chloe and Madison. I will make a point to get pictures at our next game! Brayden plays so well! I played him in Midfielder and Goalie. I was super proud of him!
