Bike Riding

For Christmas last year my dad bought Madison a new bike, a new big girl bike. She has been riding Brayden's old bike, you know the one, the one that has baseballs, basketballs, footballs, and soccer balls all over. I tried a bunch of times to have her get a girlie bike, but she really wanted the 'ball' bike. This was several years ago. Now that she's older, it was definitely time for a new bike.

Now that she's got it, and the weather has warmed up, we went outside, with our bike helmets on of course, and started practicing without training wheels. We have a ways to go until she gets the hang of it, but with practice, we'll get there.

I'm really excited for us to all get out and ride our bikes. I love bike riding. I need to get a new helmet for Chloe first, and I still need to get Devin a bike. But since we're not professional bike riders, it's nice to know that several of our local retailers have inexpensive bikes.

As I'm finishing writing this, the kids and I have decided to head out and get Devin a bike today. Won't he be surprised. Can't wait to ride.
